At the heart of PHOSPAT® technology is the high-performance granulate Phoslamin®. The special combination of iron hydroxide and lanthanum removes dissolved phosphates from the water and binds them permanently in the filter material.
This efficient phosphate binding reduces the phosphate content to below 0.035 mg/l and keeps it stable over the long term. This targeted nutrient reduction creates the basis for clear water and sustainably reduces unwanted algae growth.
